My heart has been longing for some time now. My heart has ached over and over for more. This past year I have been confused, hurt, lost, sad, happy, joyful, and utterly torn at where my place is in this world. I have been praying so hard and digging into the Word more and more these last few months. Seeking Him for HIS desires for me and our family. I feel His presence more and more, and feel something deep within me to DO more. I'm still praying at the specifics, but I am seeing so much come to light and He is daily revealing new things to me. I thank Him for His constant faithfulness!
I recently picked up Katie Davis' new book, Kisses from Katie and have been blown away by the words. Her heart is beautiful, and the fact that ALL of the glory is given to Him - well it blows me away more. I am in such awe at her relationship with the Lord and her willing desire to obey. I love that and she encouraged me to do the same! Praying for MORE. I cannot WAIT to see what God is going to show me next!
