Some Advice...

As most of you know, we just wrapped up our yard sale and raised a grand total of $2,565!!!  All of that money has been added to our adoption fund.  We already had right around $8,000, so this now puts us about 1/2 way there.  Leaving us with another 10,000 to raise!  Ahh.  We're still continuously saving up ourselves, but are in need of your help.  The yard sale was a HUGE success and although I'd love to attempt a 2nd one, I'm just not sure we can.  So, I'm asking for help with some other ideas, fundraisers, support letters, etc?  I'm just not sure where to go at this point.  I'm trusting in God for provision.  I know that it was ALL because of Him (and only because of Him) that the yard sale was as big of a success as it was.  We still have a ways to go though.

So, if you or anyone you know, have some ideas or ways that we can raise more money, please share.  You can leave a comment on the blog or send us an email at richardandbrantley@yahoo.com

And lastly, just before the yard sale, we received quite a few of you that wanted order a small t-shirt.  We ran out of smalls, but placed another order of nothing but smalls last week.  They should be in any day now.  So, if you're interested in getting one, or maybe a few, let me know.

T-Shirts are $17 if picked up.
T-Shirts are $20 if Shipped.

And we also have the Print Fundraiser going on!  Be sure to check all of them out!  100% of all profits from any fundraisers we do, all go into our adoption fund to help bring home our baby!

Thank you again for your support and prayers!

Until then, Brantley

what if a few of your days off you did some discounted photography strictly for your adoption fund-raiser...not for all dressed up photography.

Good idea Sarah! Brantley you could also go to businesses and ask for items you could raffle off. Our shop would be happy to give you a couple of coupons for free oil change and 22 point auto inspection.

Also Brantley, how about a bake sale that we would be able to do one Saturday morning at 701 Whaley? I can bake loaves of sourdough bread and even some pies.
