Yes, you read right! This past Monday I got to play the roll in helping my friend, JK, as he proposed to my best friend, Becky. It was PERFECT! They both have such incredible testimonies to share, but I won't be the ones to share it for them. God's love and faithfulness has been so beautiful to watch as I've watched their relationship bloom this past year. My favorite part was Summer's reaction! (JK's daughter) You see.... I played match maker (ONCE) and this is what happened!
Not bad for the first time setting someone up! Much less a best friend! :)
I was blown away with joy when JK asked me to play apart in the proposal. It took a whole lot of confidence to pull it off and make it work. The hard part being.... we had NO CLUE when to expect her. She could have showed up at any point. So, needless to say, we stayed on pins and needles all day long! Well worth it in the end though! I'm so happy for these two! We could find a good spot to set up my FLIP since it doesn't shoot wide enough to capture her reaction from the front. So, we set it up on a table from behind. Then, I had my camera in the dining room with JK to capture those reactions.
There were a few times when I grabbed the FLIP and recorded a few candid handheld. Excuse the shaky hand... I was so stinkin excited, I could hardly hold still! lol Regardless... enjoy!
