One down... the rest to go!

Well I'm happy to report that after a email yesterday from a friend, we have our changing table/dresser problem solved!  Yay!  It really wasn't a problem, but it was something we wanted to knock off our list.  In the message Chris (female, and mom-to-be of twins!) said there was a buffet at WalMart that could easily be used for a dresser/changing table combo!  In fact, they had just bought one a couple days before!  And to top it all off, it was being discontinued, therefore, it was on clearance for $75 (originally $299)!!  You can't beat that!  Its originally is espresso, but we checked it out carefully and its nothing a little sand paper and white paint can't fix!  :)  *Since our nursery furniture is white   And.... if all of that isn't good enough, the nice managers at WalMart even offered to put it together for us at NO ADDITIONAL cost!  

So, if you're looking for a dresser/changing table combo on a budget... go check it out.  They only had a few left!  Heck, even if you're looking for a buffet... its pretty nice looking!  Don't worry, pics to come soon!

Yipee! We've been Approved [via preliminary app]

Yesterday afternoon, we received our approval from our preliminary application!  Now, this really isn't all that difficult, but its exciting to say the least!  So... next step on our journey... we attend the mandatory information meeting on Friday, July 9th.  So, it will be sitting back and doing nothing until then.  Once we attend that meeting, we will fill out our Formal Application and be on our way!  And no worries there, it will be done ASAP immediately after, I assure you!  haha

For the next several weeks we will be searching some of our favorite spots for cool furniture that we can refurbish!  This is something we love doing together and thought it would be fun for the nursery too!  The only real furniture we will buy is the crib, and glider.  (which I guess is 1/2 of it!)
